This is a beautifully polished horn tip, known as a Noggin here at Raven Forge. They are a little smaller than our horn tumblers but just right for a bit of your favourite drink. The interior is sealed with food safe resin for the best drinking experience, and to prevent damage to the horn.
In Viking culture, drinking horns were the vessel of choice for quaffing mead, ale, and wine. Longhouses and mead halls would be filled with the sounds of raucous revelry as mighty warriors boasted of glorious victories.
